I'm thinking about getting some flower stingray to breed them. Could I get everyone opinion on this subject? It is Difficult to breed flower stingray? Has anybody on this site ever successfully breed flower stingray before?

I dont think anyone in the usa has bred them
U would need a big ol tank and lots of food

And my opinion is no you will not be able to breed them.i do t think I've seen anybody I'n the hobby breed pure flowers yet.I've seen tiger flower and their was just a few people who were able to breed tigers. I think your first battle will be to keep flowers alive longer than 2-3 years. Most die I'n captivity
Flowers and tigers are pussys
They die easy from almost anything.most probably die because stress of shipping,others hooks or those types of methods. Than feeding aggression amongst rays " i just lost my tiger due to my flowers aggression ". And water quality is so important with flowers and tigers.they are so fragile they are not like other rays they won't go pale and refuse foods if the water isn't up to par with their standards,they will just start to die.I've lost a flower about 7 years ago and a tiger a few weeks ago. They are not for beginners

I know a guy who imported 60 nice flowers and only 15 survived for him to sell! Of those 15 still alive my bet would be 0
Well Calgary, I also know a couple pole that has flowers, and have had them mor than a couple years.... Yes breeding is slim to none, but I think someone can keep a flower or tiger for a good duration of time with proper precautions taken
hmmmmm......I have breed motoro and marble motoro before and still breeding those two species at the moment. Just wanted to go a different directions. I have seen BD, Henlei, and Leopoldi breeder also on this site. Looking to do things a little different. What about pearl, Jaguar, or other types of stingray. Anybody have an idea what would be cool to breed for my next project?
Fish dog I kno is successfully breeding jags right now. Not too sure about pearls other than the pearl hybrids Shawn and jojo have brought in from imports....
