So I have a breeding pair of Jack dempseys and it crossed my mind to keep the largest (or smallest) fry and try continuously breeding them to get them to the extreme spectrums (dwarf JD's or above average JD). Obviously I know to avoid over inbreeding, but I was just wondering if anyones done this and what the result was like, did you ever run it long enough to see a difference in the spawn? More of a curiosity thing although I'm going to keep a few of my larger fry and see how they turn out.

This sounds interesting. I had the same thought like few months back but I didn’t do it practically. Because I though it’s like putting them in a danger. Anyway share the result with us later. I am waiting for that.
