I have a male hangin out with my rummynose and harlequins in my 15gal and will be moving the majority of those fish to a 30 gal soon, but I was wondering if I put a female in there with all the current fish would the furcatas still spawn? I keep reading that its not very hard to breed them.

if they're anything like my bosemani, it should be pretty easy although most recommend more than one female to spread out the mating aggression. my tank is heavily planted and she hides for hours sometimes, while he races around hunting for her. I increased their feedings from once to twice a day with more live and frozen food and did daily water changes.
get some moss for them to spawn over, or some use spawning mops- but I have no experience with those.
mine liked to mate mostly before noon, especially after a 50% water change and feeding.

Kewl. I hope to heavily plant my tank as soon as my next paycheck comes in. Thats when I'll probably buy a tank for just those guys and plant it as well. Maybe make a extra dollar selling these guys. Who knows?
