Hi everyone I have a pair of wild caught Winemilleri that are about 7" or so now and I am having trouble with breeding them. I was wondering if there was anything that I could do to trigger the spawn or anything to help my chances on getting them to breed. Any info will help, thanks in advance!

Mine spawned a few times in a community tank but eggs were always eaten overnight. I did't do anything special, although I did notice that they often got "excited" after large water changes. Pretty standard stuff.
I am new to South Americans , but my 2 pairs of WC Winemilleri from Jeff Rapps laid eggs with in a month of me getting them.
I just fed Live Black Worms for a 8 days along with green flakes, and Hikari sinking pellets. I did a nice water change
two days later I noticed a large clutch of eggs on the outside of a cave....
my water is 8.2 out of the tap ans stays that way .... Temp in my 240 8 footer is 78.

great info guys thanks! You guys have a few pairs? Do you think mine will pair off even though I only have 1 male and 1 female because i noticed some peoples that did spawn, they had a group of them. Rapps said he vented them for me and it is a male and female.
It's better to start with a group and let them pair off. One male and one female may not hit it off...but hope it works for you!
If you notice you have a pair, my pair of Altifrons usually almost always spawns after a large water change (40-60%) and I've heard readding slightly cooler water (tried, not sure if made difference) also helps. Also feeding a meal of live food/frozen live food.
