Breeding Geophagus??

I'm looking into breeding some Geos in a 125. Will be getting a school of 6-10 juveniles to grow out.
Tank is 6x2x2'

I want to breed one of these species, they are available to order. Which ones should I go with?
Are any of these species rare?


Geophagus sp. "pindare"
Geophagus sp. "Rio Caete"
Geophagus Harreri
Geophagus Iporangensis
Geophagus Winemilleri
Geophagus Crassilabris
Geophagus Altifrons "Alenque

I don't know how rare the G iporangensis are, but I picked up 6 at our local club auction that were about 2", and within 2 weeks they had a group of fry in a 50 gal.
Very colorful, fearless species.


Have also had those in the altifrons group, and red hump group spawn, all are great species to keep and breed, they will do best in larger tanks.
