breeding ghost shrimp

Hi,
I want to start offering my rays more of a variety of food so I want to try to breed ghost shrimp. I've just got a coupe of questions. How many should I get to start and what size tank? How long before they start breeding? And how likely is it that they would breed? thanks

Ghost shrimp are pretty hard to breed. I believe they breed in Salt water or brackish conditions then need to moved to fresh. I could be wrong though.

Anyone else have an opinion on this? I was wanting to do this also. If nothing more than the convenience of not going to the lfs to get some.
