Being I have a almost mature Female and will be adding a mature male I'm just curious with keepers experience when successful breeding happens is there more success with either scenario. Growing out pups as a pair or later introduction of a mature ray once your ray is mature.

I think either way can work. Both of my breeding pairs grew up as pups together but that's just my preference. Many people breed rays by introducing adults. Just be careful in your case if the male is mature and the female isn't.

Ya for sure. Just interested if one way or the other is more preferable to the rays and what they do in the wild. I would assume it's easier in aquaria with pups growing up together. Thanks
