I want to try breeding them but whats the best way to keep the babies from being eatten beside putting them in the plastic breeders?
Can you use lots of plant and hiding places instead?

They will still get eaten even with cover, just less will be eaten. The only way to truely get all of the fry to not be eaten is to net them and seperate them one by one. Or you could just get convicts.

A tip for convicts: at the frys 2week mark, divide the tank with something opaque and have the babies on one side and the parents on the other.
