is breeding guppies really as simple as putting a few in a tank with filtration??? what water temp do they need?? what else do i need to know to breed guppies???

Trust me, it is veryyy easy to breed guppies. Put a few of them in a nice well-planted tank with a few decor and good filtration is always a must.
temp is always about normal for tropical fish: 75-83 degrees F.

Just let them do their thing. However, the guppies will eat their babies so figure some loses. They having plastic breeding containers with slots on the bottom so that the fry will fall thru and not get eaten but you will have to put the female in a separate tank otherwise the other guppies will eat them. Also, I have herd that feeding them live food like brine shrimp will make the females give birth faster. Hope this helps, The Doctor
