Breeding help

Okay, i may get slammed for this lol but i have a male midevilxbp hybrid right now. Picture below. I am soon getting rid of the dempsey to a new home and was thinking of adding a few female blood parrots to try and get a pair or female from the same batch as my hybrid. I will not be selling or trading any of the fry if im successful. Im just wondering if you have any tips to help me have the best chace. I figured he would like a female as he does not like the male dempsey one bit. So i guess anything helps. Thanks

Kind of a neat looking fish. A BP might be a good match for him. Breeding him is going to depend on his aggression level. There are different ways of doing it. Here is a link where they talk about breeding.

just get a female kkp around the same size and put them together. They are very compatible fishes. should be ez. Just put them together. If there should be fighting, get a divider ready. good luck. Awesome fader. He should look might fine in the next year and on

@Jakeca, Thanks for the link, as for agression level, he only picks on the dempsey after feeding it seems. Hoping to get it paired before he becomes a real terror.

@The Animal Guy, Would the kkp be better then the blood parrot? I was already planning on a divider as i have read how south and central american cichids can get fiesty with their partners. He is a really nice looking orange with the pinkish blotches, he might make some nice looking little fry lol
