Well, I change water once or twice a week and clean canister often doesn't really encourage fish to breed.
So I raised to temp to 80 82 84, nothing happend. Then I raised to temperature to 90F and my parrot is now laying eggs, just in few minutes.

So do I feed them during breeding period? Will they starve to death without food during breeding period?

imo, I wouldn't feed them during, I'd wait for them to finish spawning and then feed them. Plus if you condition them well and pump them up before hand they should be fine. Mines easy, they're already a pair, i keep it routine feedings, then once i notice they start spawning i hold off till they're finished spawning, then i skip one feeding and then feed the next time. but i definately feed after, i find the males get hungry lol... the females are usually good and stick with the eggs, hence good pre conditioning is essential for my experiences.

Eggs laid and this time, there are much more eggs and no white eggs. But the parrot always eat the eggs, so i wonder if i should throw away plenty of big feeder fish in 10g tank and hatch babies there?

For the first time, my carpintis is flaring with its gill plate open, and i saw him fertilizing the eggs. His tube came down too, wide and thick.
