This is kind of preliminary, and dependent on the survival of the fry I kept from the last batch, but I wanted to get this out there to see if there was any interest in these two fish. These two are breeding about once a month and I am getting tired of them chasing around the little Losielle and Trimac that share the 220 with them. The Jag is male and about 9 inches and the Con is about 3-4. I would keep just one of them, but in the interest of their relationship I wouldn't feel right separating them. I am up for suggestions as to what you would want to trade, I'm usually good with a couple bags of pellets, but maybe you have an interesting 3-5 inch fish that your trying to get rid of too. I am open to suggestion and am not really looking for anything spectacular in return. They are great parents and don't really attack other tank mates but they do drive them away from their area when they get ready to spawn. They would do great in a tank by themselves, and with that said I wouldn't put them in a tank with a male larger than the Jag, historically he has had a problem playing second fiddle. Let me know if you are interested and we can set something up while I grow out the fry a bit more. They are about a month old now and Id like to give them at least a couple more weeks to see how they progress. Thanks.

Thanks. Funny enough she scares the hell out of the Jag. Henpecked him to death I guess. Just noticed this morning they have eggs again. It's definitely time to move them, you want two fish that make more fish? No worries on the trade, just looking for a good home for them.

I wouldn't mind if I had the space but I'm fully stocked at the moment. It is a neat pair though.

Thanks for the offer.

Grundsau, it might come down to splitting them up, but let me try to see if I can keep them as a pair for a bit. I would have to get rid of the Jag anyway because if I didn't he would be left with a small male losielle and a small female trimac, and I'm almost sure he would kill the Losielle within a day. I would definitely have to move him first.

I'm interest in your jag should you decide to split them up. I'm in York, PA. PM me when u decide and we can talk trade or price.

Hey guys thanks for the interest. I have an arrangement with my neighbor in place, if it doesn't work out I will pm you. Thanks again.
