Considering that ctenopoma are gouramis, breeding them should be rather doable right?

Has anyone done so and would they like to offer me tips. I was thinking of using a breeding group and isolating gravid females to a separate tank.

Also, are they fine with congo tetras or would they eat them,

I always thought they are difficult to breed. The young if hatched are difficult to keep alive. Big tank.....floating plants with access to warm humid air.....there is documentation on the web

I’m pretty sure they are not gouramis.
I could be wrong but I do not think I am.
