I was just wondering if getting maybe 1 male and 2 female mice in a small cage so they can breed to feed to fish would be a good idea. I was thinking about this since my piranhas need about 50 feeder fish a week. Im not sure If I would even do this because i dont think mice are high in nutrients and it might be a little weird but what do you guys think??

That would be alright. But hope your fish can eat more than the baby making machines. I'm pretty sure mice are good in nutrients....meat is protein right? :D

Mammalian meat = not the greatest for fish.
Get them onto market shrimp.

yeah not worth the effort plus eventualy snapping what will come to be your pets necks will get hard....

Dmopar74 got a point too...feeding them live food once in a while is alright but keep them on a better diet or just mix their diet a bit. But in wild piranhas do only eat live things other than that like dead stuff for who know how long been their.

okay guys thanks alot I appreciate the help. Right now I have been feeding them feeders and some beef cubes for stew that my freinds mom wasnt using.

I agree get them eating prawns/shrimp leave the mice/rats for the snakes :D

Mice? You'll have to give your P's floss to get the hair out of their teeth!
