Breeding motoro sizes??

When you have a pair of motoros do you want the rays to be about the same size, have a larger female/smaller male, or have a larger male/smaller female? All of this is taking into account that they are both of breeding size.

it is best to have the female bigger than the male.

the male normally gets very rough with the female during breeding time.
a smaller female wont be able to hold its place.

In my idea after i breed my Motoros, it seem that same size or bigger female can control better since bigger male may harm to smaller female. The agreesive male may cause death to smaller female. However not every pair of ray can be breed since they will select their mate themself. The right mate and the right time will cause the Pups for sure. However quality of water and weather are also the condition that you must to concern

for best results, the larger the femle the better. with larger femles they can carry more pups that tend to be bigger and healthier.

too big of female and the male cant get her.... had this problem before... my marbles are equal size and no problem

can be depending on how rough the male is to the female. the more diffcult it is for the male to stick it in, more he will try to do it. also depends how much punishment the female can take.

it mays cause damage and death to the smaller one. Note that not always that bigger female can carry more pups but the bigger size when born this i am agree since my female motoro size 18" gave birth with only 1 pup

It all depends. A male can be VERY agressive.
