Is it possible to bread rays in a 220 gallon...if your width is 30"?

I have heard that the width plays a factor in breading is this true?

At what size are they normally mature?

I had a pair of 14inch motoros breed in my 210 7x2x2. But they were the only fish in the tank. bare-bottom. and super clean water, water changes 3 times a week, and feed two times aday. Males can mature at 7 inches.. some males can take up to 14inches. females can be ready around 12inches. but could have a small litter. plus could push out the pups to soon.

The male will have long rolled claspers. The female will let the male know when she is ready. Its a good idea to have a smaller male. Cause the male with hit the female hard. Just make sure to keep clean water. and feed hard.
