breeding Nicaraguan Cichlid?

I was wondering if a 30 gallon long could have a pair of Nicaraguan Cichlid?

Should be big enough. I don't have direct experience on breeding these fish though I am trying to raise some young to breeding to give it a try. How big are the fish?

I have breed nics in a 30gal. I just used some sand and a piece of wood. they dug a hole under the wood, and layed them there. Remove the fry once they get some size tio them.
