breeding pair of cons in NJ

Ok so im trying to find a better source of feeders and im to lazy to grow out cons...So if you have a breeding pair of cons..firemouths...basically any breeder that breeds pretty fast ill take them! i have a empty 30g tank and want some food for my bass/aro/polys.

go to any lfs and get a pair. they will definitely breed for you.females have orange on the belly.I have extra males so if you want one you can have it for free.

also get a lot more than one pair. they take a long time to even reach the size of a small gold fish

Wish you lived in NC. I have a breeding pair of firemouths for $35 that spawn every 9-14 days. Each spawn has NO less than 300-400 fry, so I get thousands of babies from them a month.

I have given away (4) spawns from the pair so far, and still have 50+ fry left. The parents are due to spawn again any day now.

how bigs ur male? Iv never seen a con bigger than an inch in any lfs...i had a pair of lil 1inchers...was growing them out..but thee male just kicked the crap outa the female and killed it..
