I am moving out of state soon and looking for a good home for our two oscars. They are a breeding pair, been together since they were very small. They are 3 years old, very healthy, fed pellet food all their life. They share a tank with a very healthy, good sized pleco. I have moved my fish before but just don't have the room for it this time. I live in El Paso, TX. and will be moving the week of the 18th. Anyone interested can reply here or contact me on yahoo messenger under the name scorpfem1970. I am not asking for anything more than a good home from someone who might like a compatible breeding pair of oscars. :headbang2 T

I wish I did. I am a truck driver and currently out on the road. My family and I hadn't made a final decision when I was home last and so now it is impossible to get a pic of them. They are both healthy, never had problems with any disease. The tank isn't set up properly for the eggs to hatch but while she is laying the eggs and tending to them, both parents are very protective and won't let the pleco too close.

Hey man
Wish I was in TX!!!

If you are getting no babies, it is possible they are two girls. I have had a "lesbian pair" in the past - they loved one another, but looking at their ovipositors, both were wide and blunt.

Just throwing this out there in case somebody needed this info, in case they were planning on having baby Oscars.
