Breeding pair of what for a 55 gal?

I have any empty 55 and miss having a breeding pair of fish in the house. Any ideas that aren't JDs that would work for life?

Most of these popped into my head at one point or another except the geos. Eartheaters don't come around here often except petsmart ones and jurapari.

thought a 55 would be small for a pair of sevs though. any others ideas? this empty tank thing is killing me lol

Some of the humongous livebearers out there would be neat to breed. Those halfbeaks and the smaller, fatter ones like them would rock a 55g.
