Breeding Pairs with pics.

Hi guys,

I presently have a batch of oscars from the below breeding pair.

This pair is presently laying eggs every two weeks now and seem to have no signs of stopping. they are in a 180g tank with another pair of oscars, but i am having no success with this pair.


in this shot you will see a flower pot, in this pot there is presently a batch of convicts with young.



I also have a pair of gold severums that are preparing to spawn as the female now has her breeding tube down after jaw locking with the male for about two weeks now.


Finally is a pair of albino convicts, the pic below is of the male. i suspect there are eggs in the area, but cannot see them due to the location. however i will keep you posted.


That is it for me. what do you guys have going on right now??

i have 2 pairs of koi angelfish in a 30long.

have you had both pairs of koi spawn at the same time? and if so when the young cross over the divider would one pair raise the fry of another?

nope only one and they haven't had any babies yet.

Lots of pairs you have their breeding one tank......Ever try seperating one or two pairs in their own breeding tank????????

I have the severums in their own tank. I remove the eggs of the O's and hatch artificially. the young convicts are removed after they hatch as they remain in the flower pot for about a day or two.
