Will females only lay eggs on sandy bottems. As in I have crushed coral for subsrate, if I want my peacocks to breed should I put down some sand?

They will usually clear off a flat rock or a spot in sand. They aren't too picky. The eggs get picked up pretty quickly anyway.

i have rock on the bottom of my tank and they spawend well atleast one of the mates os a peacock the other i have no idea on what kind it is but good luck they come out with some cool colors on them

If they want to do it they will do it anywhere.Makes no differance

Very true.

Don't worry too much about it. When they breed, they will get it done regardless. You'll be amazed. They are very easy to breed, hardy, and prolific. You shouldn't have a problem with crushed coral.
