Breeding plecs

Hello all

i am thinking of breeding a type of plec in my 3ft tank. i know already that i want to try and breed L239 as i like this and have read of success on planet catfish.

my question here is, would i be able to breed plecos and rainbow cichlids in the same tank?

or would they eat each others babies or rip the crap out of each other or something?
