Do you breed fish for your predators... yes or no?

I think we should also add what kind of feeder we are breeding.

So for me YES and 2 pair of convicts

As well as a bunch of endlers

I am thinking about doing that.
I am planning on doing a pair of convicts...but I need to check and make sure my p's will eat them first :P

not worth it. but i don't feed live unless they're recently acquired and being starved onto frozen

yes i got 2 female fancy guppies las thursday and they gave birth 2 days ago i got 12 fry in all its probly their first brood so not to many. and i have several hungry predators and a snapping turtle waiting

I have in the past but currently don't, the only fish that made enough offspring that grew fast enough to make viable feeders were convicts, the wigglers especially made awesome betta food. If you're trying to breed food for anything with some size to it you're going to need a lot of space to grow out fry, and probably 3 or 4 pairs of cons producing to make it worth your while

Guppies
Mollies
Platies
Ghost shrimp ( but they breed fairly infrequent, so more a "treat" )
earthworms
pan worms

seriously debateing picking up a pair of Cons, or small africans soon as well.

Oh and I found a pair of mosquito fish in the LFS feeder tank I decided to take home and start a population with hopefully. See how they reproduce compared to the guppies.

I enjoy breeding fish, and this way I can indulge that aspect of the hobby I enjoy and at the same time cut some costs for my "monsters"
