Anyone done it? Anyone have any information on water parameters, etc?

These fish can be found with the common names Denison's Barbs, Roseline Sharks, Redline sharks, or any combination of the above.

Thanks!

There was an article in Practical Fish Keepers (UK magazine) a few months ago. I think as long as you have large enough adults (10-15cm?) and you have a good enough eye to try/adapt/try you should be able to. They are being commercially farmed now so its definitely possible.

I am glad to inform you that Puntius denisonii- the most beautiful ornamental fish of the Western Ghats of India popularly known as "Miss Kerala" - could be successfully bred under captive conditions under the leadership of Dr. T.V.Anna Mercy, Professor, College of Fisheries, Kerala Agricultural University, Panangad, Cochin, 682506, Kerala, India. The other team members are Mr. Sajan S and Mr. Bony Joseph. This was carried out under a research project financed by Marine Products Export Development Authority, Cochin. The details will be presented at The Indaquaria-2010 conference at Chennai
