Question ...

I have a Blood Parrot who I believe is a female but she is in a community hybrid tank, I believe she is about to drop her eggs anyday, can I remove her and add her to another tank and expect her to lay the eggs with a different male she did not pair with on her own ?


Has anyone ever waited for a tube to drop then switch the male on purpose ?
 
You could try, if there isn't a suitable male she might not drop her tube. It took 3 months before my female would breed with my old SB Fader. Wouldn't hurt to move her around and see if she pairs with anyone.

Also I don't think those are eggs in your BP, I think you are might be over feeding her. How much and how often do you feed her?
 
My Faded Escondido x Red Dragon Flowerhorn female has indeed dropped her tube, so she should lay any day. I am currently waiting for some fish from Thailand, some shortbodies so hopefully I get my sh*t together.
 
Dave has nice fish and is a good seller from what I have heard. You can occasionally see him in the Shoutbox on FHcraze. The Kamfa one is nice but I am not sure if its a Kamfa. The Kamalau one is a ZZmalau and the Thai Silks will be nice if it grows a kok. I would have gotten one of his $100 RD instead of the SB Thai Silk or the SB ZZmalau.
