breeding question

i have a 55g demasoni/yellow lab tank it has one peacock in it and i was wondering if i put a female peacock in to breed if it would make my male peacock fight with my demasoni or yellows

it might not attak them but it willl stop the others from breeding

IMHO I think this is a bad idea. Mixing Mbuna and Peas usually ends up in dead fish, especially when trying to breed them. I have seen it done so it is possible. But very rare.

Make sure you get the right type of female peacock if you do, lately had a lot of people think any female peacock will work with any male. There are differences.

I would not attempt to breed them in this manner myself as they do not fair long with the mbuna.
