breeding rays in stock ponds

Why did you pick those? I wouldn't waste my time as you pretty much have to give the pups away as no one really wants them due to many factors like looks,finicky just to mention two. If you want to breed rays stick with bread and butter motoro's as they breed like rabbits.

Id have to agree. If you already have the two species you've mentioned breeding then cool great but if you're in the process of deciding what type to go with then id go with something a bit more common and easy. Bang for buck is motoro.

The best way to breed is have a male and a couple of females. Give them stable water chemistry and healthy mix of food. They will do the rest.

IMO: its easier to breed them in a pond than a tank. Just get the right ratio of male's and females, perfect water condition and filtration system, feed them well. and let nature takes its course
