Breeding rays

Other then actual maintace and set up of a large saltwater tank. How hard is it to breed rays? How is breeding saltwater compare to fresh? Is it near impossible? Are bat rays a type of stingray?

My dads saltwater rays gave birth don't know what kind they are though

I'm not going to claim I know anything about breeding rays, but from what I understand they shouldn't be stressed, should have a larger tank, and should otherwise be thriving rather than just getting by. No stress either. But then again, that sort of goes for breeding all fish.
