How easy is it to do?

and what should the mix to be to breed?

1x male 2x female?

(motoros)

and are there rays smaller then mortoros that would be fine in 30 inches for life? width of the tank..

Quite easy, the males are really crazy about mating when given right conditions. And with females, it doesn't really matter how much there are, if you have a pair, most of the time they will mate. A retic will be smaller.

make sure the females are bigger than the male and should all work out fine

1 x male 2 x female is the best mix it will spread the agression a bit

but still expect the male to do alot of damage to the females you will probably need to take him out at some point

Once they breed is this when you should seperate? You will know when they breed from the damage to the female and to you tank....right?

all rays are diffrent when my male bred with my female their was no damage and once he had bred he didnt try to beed again until the pups were born then he bred again after 2hrs

its normaly a diffrent story with motoro the male will rip the female to bits even killer her when trying to breed he may still stress her after he has bred

motoro are fairly easy to breed but you need a massive tank with other females so they can get away from the stress from the male
