breeding RD x FH, how can it work?

hi guys

i have 10" male rd with 8" flower horn in empty 40" tank

i put a divaider between them cos the rd is really aggresive

so my qustion is

how can i make them mate , without killing each other first?

as long as the holes in divider are big enough to were the male can fertilize the eggs they will probably breed just fine how they are... Fish are smart, your female will know that the male has to fertlize the eggs for them to hatch so she will more then likely lay eggs in the gapping hole's if your divider (asuming you have holes in your divider, large enough for her to lay eggs in) so he can still do his thing!!!

i can't take pic cos i don't have my camera right now

but i can tell u that my divider is worthles for breeding , it's plastic slate with small holes and in each side of the devider i put a rock to make the slate set tight and not falling ,so i can't breed them like this, i have a problem making the devider staying without falling by the rd -_-

Adult Devils, especially the Flowrhorns, will be complicated to pair....But not impossible....Leave the divider between the two....Try sticking a rock in the middle, it will be a "focal point..."Look for signs of he sex organs protruding....ONce organs are visible on both sexes....Lift the divider up enough for the female to get under....

but theres no need for doing this any more

cos i lift the devider today (i put it a week ago)

to see if the rd will folow the fl like he done when i put her with him the first time ..

it did in the first 2 minate but he didn't wont to hart her ,it's like cheaking her out

then he move away and didn't do any thing to her for the rest of the day

i feel releaf, now it's become more easy
