i have a pair of snooks, they laid eggs and the female was guarding them but slowly the tankmates ate them, i removed the synodontis catfish that would have got them at night but the 6" chancho i have kept grabbing some ever now and again, and im pretty sure they're now all gone, should i remove all the tank mates and let them have the tank to themselves? any advice? its my first time breeding anything other then guppies lol so help is much appreciated as i would love to raise some fry and thank my bro for trading with me for them!

all tank mates removed except for a female venustus and i reintroduced the largest (easiest to catch) synodontis catfish as a clean up crew untill the eggs are laid again, ill keep updating until im successful! btw ill try and get some pics uploaded of the eggs and snooks

probably gonna be a few weeks before they spawn again, ill post pics when they do!

they might look white in the pics but in person they were brown, trust me there was some white ones that had some fungus and it was very easy to tell the difference
