how do i go about doing that?

Usually breeders start with a small group of juveniles and let them pair up on their own. When fed well and kept in clean water, and better a species tank they are much more likely to breed.

Trying to pair up adults doesn't always work since adults tend to think of any new tank mates as invaders in their territory.

Juveniles in a species tank as said above + get the juveniles from different places, to keep from inbreeding.
