So i caught them spawning in the act this time. Ill get some more close up vids of them later once they have finished. Normally i just wake up to a rock full of eggs. Its interesting watching exactly what they do.

Congrats bro your pair is stunning!! Do you have room to grow out fry? I will be interested in hooking up here down the road to get new blood. Do you know where your rtm's originally came from?

They are F1 Rio Blancos. It all depends on how my tank setup goes. I am setting up the 220 and 180 this week. I am going to see how the fry fair this time. There will only be a breeding pair of doviis and Rtm in that tank. I was going to move the dovii out but they laid eggs on the same day so i will have to leave them in there temporarily. I don't know how far Im going to grow them out but maybe we can figure something out. I'm trying to sell a male about the same size that was an extra, but like i have said in another post monster fish keeping seems to be dead here in central illinois.



All of my fish suddenly got to spawning age within a couple of weeks of each other it has thrown me off. Its weird they have all done it at different sizes, but apparently this was the week to start spawning for all of them.
