Breeding Saltwater Leopoldi and Pearls?

Have you ever heard of breading Leopoldi's and Pearl's for saltwater? I have been conversing with a guy in Bali, Cameroon that say's he doe's this. I have Saltwater Rays and have never heard of this and I suppose there is a reason for that. Vitoko Fuvou is his name.
