Breeding setup for my flowerhorns.

Just set up my tank underneath, 60 gallon up top for the male and female, 20L underneath which will be where the fry will go. For culling and grow out. What do you guys think

It's all I can do at the moment, I don't plan on fully growing fry, keeping just a few and just to 2 inches or so

Was wondering when the breeding bug hits you pal lol.

I like the setup...thats exactly what i was going to do...but was told it wont be sufficient. But then again i will grow out more than 2 inches. good luck bro

You might need to add a divider, cause the male could really beat up the female in a tank that small. You should cut a hole in it also so the male can fertilize the eggs, but not big enough that he can get through.

I'd prefer a bare bottom. Especially in the fry/growout tank...watch as your babies disappear.
