I am going to make an attempt at breeding pleco's in my home. It's a long shot but I've done lots of research and pretty much have forever to get this to work. I was wondering what kind of setups people were running for breeding. Pics always help, filters, tank sizes, temp, lighting etc. Here is what I have setup for a soon to be breeding area.

2x 55 gallon tanks
-Both tanks run right around 82 degrees, Aquaclear 300 filters, 1 power jet each with bubbles, and one smaller pump to make a current towards the bottom. Driftwood, rocks, claypots for cover. These are for the parents.

3x 10 gallon tanks
-These will run on low power jet filters with lots of smaller clay pots, live plants, and smaller peices of driftwood.

Each tank will get a T5 light strip with blue led's for night time. The 55's will be on the bottom of custom stands so that I can cover them to prevent them being spooked by people or animals. I will have each tank on a seperate water system. The reason for the 3 seperate 10's is to keep the babies from picking at eachother. So I can seperate them a little bit more.

Anything else I should look at?

i breed bristlenose in 20 longs a cave, driftwood and a sponge filter. temp is 84 degrees. after the eggs hatch a remove the fry to a 10.
