Breeding Signs

i have a male and female convicts in a 50g with 2 JDs and a red devil and i was just wondering what convict breeding signs are.

Signs would be that the fish have paired up, building a nest, tail slapping, lip locking, shaking etc

The first breeding sign is the nest building....No doubt....Once a nest is built(or a territory made), the pair will protect the zone untill all eggs are laid, hatched, and fry gone.....

is it odd if my male con just all of a sudden got territorial?(so territorial that it went after my red devil)

ok but my male con is dark black and my female hasnt changed any since i got her
