i will try to keep this short,
i have been keeping tropical fish for over 25 years, i have many tanks ranging from 30 gallon community to specialty 180 gallon tanks....i would consider myself advanced but not an expert by any means....in the past i have very successfully bred angelfish, cichlids and discus,
about 2 years ago i picked up 6 silver dollars as babies (about 1 inch diameter), i put them in a 125 gallon with some tinfoil barbs i already had,
fast forward to today....
i have removed the tinfoil barbs and given them a larger home, this leaves the 6 silver dollars alone in the 125....i dont really know alot about silver dollars, other then they seem to be very easy to take care of....
i did not buy these fish with the intentions of breeding them, but im just wondering what you guys/experts think the likelyhood is of these fish breeding?
they are about 4-5 inches in diameter right now....is that even breeding size for dollars?
