Breeding Size For Firemouth Cichlids?

Hi at what size can the vast majority of firemouth cichlids breed?
I have 1m and 2 fm, they are only around 2"-3" (Ish). How long till they can lay eggs?

Ive seen female as small as 3"

2"-3" is enough for them to start spawning. Well really from 2.5" but yeah possible at 2". Note possible =/= will definitely happen.
