Small SH like guachus are easy to breed. I've seen redlines in Bangkok breeding in concrete ponds about 1000g. I don't want to see the heating bills if you are trying to do the same thing in Canada.

Chana gaucha readily breed in home aquarium.I have done it. as for the big ones reds can be but the tank size you require is large and you need to fined a pair good luck with that they hatch in 3 days free swimming in a week and grow fast on daphnia and brine shrimp O and the Gaucha were good parents would not say the same for a red
 
i read somewhere that you can breed younger redlines in smaller tanks. but i'm not sure what size they become sexually mature
