i hvae 2 sword tails right and i'm wanting to breed them. i will move babys into a small couple of gallon tub. i want to rase them as feeds for dats(1-4" dats) so i starting now about 1-4weeks before i get them. what temp is need i have 79-82degrees. its a 20g with great filtration my diy bio filter(in diy secion) and a pegium 200. any help will be apprated. thanks in advance.
 
i will get more females when i get smoe more cash i need to save up for the dats too.
 
thats about right they breed like guppies or any other live bearer ime

a couple floating plants would help or dense plants so the fry dont get eaten

My thoughts exactly. I used wisteria, that works great for cover.
 
i am going to move fry just so i have better suvile rate and i have a reason to use on of my filters and setup another tank :)
 
plants will still help in case you are gone
 
Floating plants make it much easier to catch the fry.
 
definatly little guys like to hide behind heaters too
