Breeding T-bar cichildes

I have 2 t-bar cichildes who are laying eggs, the problem is that the eggs are eaten and I don't know what I can do about it. The t-bars are about 6 months old and this was theire first batch. Should I seperate them from the other fish or do I just have to be patiënt?

Be patient. Often, it takes some time for young parents to figure it all out. If you want to raise the fry, I would move the pair to their own tank, maybe with a few dithers. Raising fry in a community cichlid tank is usually pretty hard to do.

Yep, as above. Cichlids do not always get it right the first time, and may need many, many tries to get it right. You can let them be, or take out the eggs when they're laid and have them be artificially taken care of.
