I have a new 150 set up and I was wondering what fish I could breed that are nice fish but at the same time have a decent demand for fry. I have a breeding pair of jds there beautiful and I would never get rid of them, but I can't give away their fry and that's not helping me save for more fish and tanks. The number one fish I have my eyes on are festae, what do my fellow MFKrs think. Advice would be greatly appriciated :)

i dont see a demand for trimacs i would say oscars or geen terros and you can sell all the fry to your lfs because sometime the most common fish are the most purchased

or try ornatum ,islanum, or festae

My first was ornatum but best price I could get was 85 each from jeff rapps and I would want to start with at least 5 or 6. Anywhere else I can get them for better price. And festae was what I was going to go with becaue of the cheaper start up price for the breeding project. I was thinking green terror aswell but I didn't think there was much a demand for them. Yea I would like a fish that's not to common, nice and could get atleast 15 bucks and up for fry.

Paratilapia Bleekari! There a beautiful Cichlid from Madagascar that are going instinct..

Or you could get Chocolate Cichlids..
