Well the first one was not as good as i planned. So here is my new one.

Option 1: breeding guppies in a 30gallon with a peacock eel. I wld use a net breeder. I wld have 5 male guppies and 5 females. After the fry r grown out feed them to a mantis shrimp.

Option 2: I wld breed a hardy and fast growing and reproducing snail. I wld then put the fry after there hatched into a 5 gallon buckets to grow out. After they r grown out feed them to a mantis shrimp.

After u vote plz put wht u voted and why.

they r a smasher

Smashers all the way. It depends on where your getting your mantis shrimp. Usually shrimp that have been captive for a while are easy to get trained onto frozen foods. Wild caughts, extremly hard. I got mine from some liverock, hitchhikers. God knows where they came from. The would only eat crabs, hermits, shrimp, and frozen bait shrimp. I mostly fed mine live shrimp. I lived at the beach at the time, and there was a brackish river right next to my small house. I just went at night with a bright light, and caught around 100 shrimp. I would freeze those, or keep the others in a bin for later.

Why don't you just feed it krill or shrimp?

well i think imma feed it shrimp too but idk if it wld be good combo

the snail, plus other shelled food sources, like shrimp, crab, crayfish, and snails are good too. It can be bad for there health if they have only one food type
