breeding trout?

i was watching how its made and they where showing how they breed trout for food and it looked easy enough that probly someone here might have tryed it. so i was wonderen if u got a male and female and let them grow then milk them for eegs and sperm and bred them would the baby be good food because there at resonable size in a couple months. i was just wounderen for u monster fish keepers and me a future monster keeper would it be cost saveing to do this or just a bad idea
 
Few questions

Where are you going to keep these fish?
What size are you going to purchase your fish at?
Will you be able to get one male and one female?

You'll also need to take into account the cost of everything you use now for your fish (hydro, water, food, filtration, etc).


Anything is doable but this will be work.

Will the costs be less than the work you have to put into the project???

The biggest thing you'll get out of attempting this project is the potential satisfaction of saying you bred trout. :)

I'd wait 1 month and at that time if you still want to try it go for it :thumbsup:
