Well, I'm testing my hand at breeding Cichlids, and I started with the easiest, Convicts. Everything is going well, but I'm curious to know what a female con's Breeding Tube looks like? My female has what appears to be a very short stubby turd hanging out, except it's been there for 2 days, and it's slowly getting longer. I wondered if this was the breeding tube? I know for a fact it isn't a turd, but it looks like one, sorta.

Lol, that made me laugh. It really doesn't matter what the tube looks like. You can tell the difference by coloration of adult cons. But that sounds about right, lol.
Well I know who the pair is, and which is which, I just didn't know if it was a breeding tube, or a turd that is taking FOREVER to come out.
