Your probably new to cichlids then.
They display fins at eachother, lip-locking(kissing), chase eachother.
Look for swollen throats or if they are guarding a peice of a tank. Swollen throat means she girl has eggs in thier. If they are guarding a rock or somthing, use a flashlight at night and try to find some eggs.
