i have an emtpy 10 gal tank
i was wondering if angels can breed in somthing this small?????
if so
in finding my pair
how big should i buy them
and how many

Not a chance angels grow far to big to be kept in a 10g tank. Research?

If you don't have a breeding pair, then the best means is a 55 with 6 juvy angels. Different stocks sources is important. If you had a breeding pair, a 20H is the smallest tank for angels.

just wondering
because i saw someone on mfk that said theyve seen angels breed in a 10 gallon
how big do they have to be to breed

Its possible but not a great idea.
10 more suited to breeding guppies dwarf shelldwellers killies rams or apistogramma

Mine are breeding at 4". I wouldn't recommend trying to breed them in a 10 gallon. You only need 2 if you can tell them apart, and get them at 2" each. Make sure you don't get the long fin angels, as mine has a fin span of 6 inches, and couldn't extend to full length in a 10 gallon.

I will go against the grain on this one.....If they are paired up, you can definitely breed them in a ten gallon tank...It is done all the time. Of course there are variables involved...But, yes you can.

yes you can use a 10 gallon for breeding. my uncle has 6 pairs and he is housing the pairs in 10 gallon tanks. 1 pair per 10 gallon. he is harvesting eggs every other week on each pairs. he has thousand and thousand of frys and getting ready to drop them off on a wholesaler.
