breeding??

I have a 4" midas which looks to be midas an 4"fh both seem to be displaying to eachother but no fighting is this breeding behaviour or are they to small an what should be done if they were to have babies as i am not big on hybrids even tho i got hte fh cheers.
 
sorry i cant help with breeding. mayby you could give babies away to responsible hybrid/fh owners.

which is the male? if the flowerhorn is the male, you will have a little luck that the eggs will fertile. However, if the midas is the male, you will have a better chance.

it depends of the strain of fh that determines if there fertile alot of flowerhorns are fertile
 
It's possible that it is breeding behavior, and it is quite possible for them to breed at that size..
most young american cichlids don't get it right first time..
If they get it right and you don't want the fry, use them as feeders..

exept convicts they always get it right......
